The calcium soap of long chain fatty acid or CaLCFA is a type of rumen bypass fat made specially for high milk-yielding dairy ruminants (animals with 4 stomachs) such as cows, goats and sheeps. Due to high requirement of energy to produce more milk and to recover from birthing ( needed to get the animal to lactate ), there is a need to provide a diet of highly intense energy feed. In addition to this, ruminants have a very specific digestive system that would not tolerate the presence of oil (triglycerides + glycerol) in the 1st stomach or rumen. And hence this energy feed must be able to stay inert to be digested in the later part of the system.

This kind of device is used to detect pregnancy from 30 days after AI. Now, the manual checks allow to detect pregnancy from 60 to 70 days after AI.

Discusses the use of the company's new CB Omni analyzer at Mitsubishi Cement's Lucerne Valley plant.

Mitsubishi's Lucerne Valley plant is located at the base of the San Bernadino Mountains, near the Mojave Desert, and supplies the southern California market (Figure 1). The original plant was constructed in 1957 as a wet process line and has gone through multiple modernizations, including a conversion to the dry process in the early 1980s. Using a 3-stage crushing system, circular preblending stockpile and a four-stage, dual-string preheater tower, the plant can produce approximately 1.7 million tpa.

The online analyzer is being installed to monitor and control the premix comprising of Limestone, Tuff and weathered Siltstone. These materials are fed through weigh feeders onto a common crusher. The average particle size in the premix will be 95% passing 100mm or lower and will be fed onto a 1000mm belt 291-BC1 at a nominal throughput of 815tph travelling at 2m/sec belt speed. The proposed analyzer will be installed on this belt that will be carrying this premix.
